I am thrilled to join the Simmons family as the new 6th-grade Assistant Principal. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve in this capacity, and I am genuinely excited about embarking on the school year. I am originally from Pennsylvania, where I began my career in education. After moving to Alabama, I became an instructional support teacher at Berry Middle School and served as the assistant principal at Bluff Park Elementary School.

My academic background includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from St. Vincent College, an M.A. in Collaborative Education from the University of California of Pennsylvania, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University, and an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from Samford University.

On a personal note, I am married and have two children that keep us very busy! We enjoy traveling to new places, as well as my hometown of Pittsburgh, to visit with my family. I am a die-hard Steelers fan and love watching football!

As assistant principal, I am fortunate to partner with you to continue student growth and foster a passion for lifelong learning. I am excited to be a part of the Simmons family and look forward to the upcoming school year, filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and success!
