Simmons Middle School

Dr. Bailey has been an educator for 19 years. Most of her work experience has been in Sylacauga City Schools, where she has been a 6th-grade special education teacher, a high school transition coordinator, a high school assistant principal, and an elementary principal. Dr. Bailey has also worked as a regional implementation coach for the Alabama State Department of Education. She is a three-time graduate of Auburn University.

Dr. Bailey is excited to continue her career at Hoover City Schools and join the administrative team at Simmons Middle School! “I look forward to meeting and working with the other team members to provide an excellent learning experience for all students!” said Bailey. Her immediate efforts will focus on supporting Principal Womack's goals and vision for Simmons, working with the administrative team to prepare for the upcoming school year, and learning about the processes and procedures in place so I can support the faculty, staff, students, and parents of Simmons middle school.
